The Ship is one of the oldest pubs in the village of Chapel St Leonards, and some people believe it to be haunted! Built during the early 19th Century, we are located in the quieter area of this popular holiday resort, on the road from Chapel St Leonards to Hogsthorpe, next to Willoughby Drain, and we offer a warm welcome to residents and visitors all year round.
In winter, you can relax in front of the open coal fires, taking in the friendly atmosphere this traditional pub brings.
We would love to welcome you to join us and sample our fine ales, lagers, wines and spirits.
We are happy to accept your dog in the pub, as long as it is kept on a lead, away from the serving area of the bar, and is well behaved.
We have musical entertainment some weekends, and a folk sing-along each month. Please check our diary for what's coming up.
We are a member of the Freedom Caravan and Camping Club, and have a small five pitch site at the rear of the pub (which is close to the bus routes between Skegness and Mablethorpe, and Skegness and Alford, and also local shops and amenities). All caravans and camper vans are welcome.
